As I mentioned above almost all new notebooks on the market today come with internal notebook DVD drive option 4(CD-RW/DVD-ROM Combo drive) or option 5(DVD Burner). Some new notebooks also offer a Blu-Ray Disc notebook internal drive that allows you to watch and/or burn Blu-Ray Discs as well as burn CDs and DVDs. Where the other three types of notebook computer CD DVD drives come into play is when you want a second(dual) notebook drive so that you can perhaps write to one notebook drive while reading data from the other.
